ABOUT THE FOUNDER

Syed Fazla Elahi Obhi, Founder and Head of Chambers at Elahi & Associates, is a full-time Supreme Court practitioner. He appears before the Hon’ble High Court Division and Hon’ble Appellate Division of the Supreme Court of Bangladesh, as well as subordinate courts and tribunals. His work covers civil and criminal matters, writs and appellate matters.

He is an elected member of the Executive Committee of the Bangladesh Supreme Court Bar Association for the 2024-25 term. Additionally, he is a member of both the Dhaka Bar Association and the Sylhet Bar Association. Syed Fazla Elahi Obhi also serves as a Panel Lawyer for the Bangladesh Public Service Commission, Bangladesh Bank, and the Rajdhani Unnayan Kartipakkha (RAJUK).

In addition to his legal works, he has a strong interest in sports, especially cricket, and is a member of the Ad Hoc Committee of the District Sports Association, Sylhet.
